Tristan Rose is a contemporary artist based in Seattle who is inspired by architecture, sustainability, and thoughtfulness. Her art is created with natural materials–including red oak and cotton–acquired through local distributors and individually brought to life by hand so that each piece is proudly defined by the unique nuances and character observed by the viewer. Nurtured by family members who are master makers themselves, Tristan originally conceived her company while creating canvases to infuse texture and softness to her spartan downtown home. As a result, each Oak & Rose commission adds a unique element to the space it occupies, which sparks creative conversation and conveys an infectious sense of joy.
